Sensio Air provides airborne pathogen monitoring in real-time. We’ve built a pathogen monitoring and identification device, as well as an interfacing mobile app and web dashboard, to allow users to monitor their environment for harmful particulate matter that may exacerbate allergies or cause other health and breathing problems.
More than 50 million people in the U.S. experience various types of allergies each year. Allergies are the sixth leading cause of chronic illness in the U.S (https://www.aafa.org/allergy-facts/). Over 150 million people have allergies in Europe, the most common chronic disease (EAACI, 2014).
Sensio Air can be utilized in the office, as well as in agricultural, medical and retail spaces to provide information about the air in real-time. This has significant implications across a variety of different industries, as this data has previously been unavailable without specialists and laboratories.
Our standard packages are available above, however this may vary depending on the use case and volume.
The Sensio Air device is a modern, aesthetically pleasing device that fits into any home or business, and constantly monitors air quality. Users can utilise a mobile app to identify airborne allergens and pollutants, both in their home, as well as in cities around the world. With this technology, users can monitor their environment, understand their symptoms in relation to triggers, and prevent the development of health problems.
The smart sensor sends the air sample's data over the cloud for analysis and where each particle is matched against a biosignature database comprised of the most common allergenic particles. These include different tree, weed and grass pollen, major mold species, animal dander and dust mites.
The sensor module also includes other environmental sensing off-the-shelf components such as temperature, humidity, light, CO2 and VOC sensors.
Our parent company Wlab LTD is located in London, UK and Sensio Air Inc operates out of Silicon Valley in the US.
Other monitors can count particles in the air, but can’t identify what’s in the dust that triggers allergies or asthma. This gives Sensio Air devices a significant advantage, as we can provide actual data on allergens and pathogens in the air around you.
The 320 cities worldwide stream live data to the Sensio Air mobile application. This air quality information along with a proprietary allergen and pollution forecasts are available as API to be integrated in third-party digital solutions.
Yes, this is certainly possible either using the API, or our actual devices. Please get in touch for a quote for your specific use-case.
